Evening newbie with an F80, My names Sarah, 29 years old live in Surrey. I’m new to the forum world. For the last 11 years I have owned 8 Mitsubishi evos they are really all I know. myself and my partner both had evo Xs up until recent. I now own a F80 M3 In Sahkir orange. The reason I have this car is my partner died in April and we always said we would get either an m4 or m3 so this car Is for him. It’s the first thing I have smiled about since he died so I see it as a positive step. So far I absolutely adore the car and I know he would have loved it aswell it’s a nice change for me to leave the evo scene I am use to aswell

I'm sure he will love the fact that you finally bought an m3 and that you've bought it for him to see.
    Get some pictures up.

Yeah my other half was pretty involved with the MLR he use to do sprints in his.

800bhp is impressive!! Did it cope with the power seen a few go bang in my time lol. Have you got any pics of the evos you had wondering if I recognise them?

Good luck with tomorrow you must be excited. I was super happy with the colour

Engine was strong but it was running an RS 5 speed box with cryogenically hardened gears - you couldn't nail it from stand still but once she was rolling, it would murder most exotica. It won Vmax one year beating everything that run.

I recognise both of those I ALWAYS wanted a ruri blue evo 9 what a beautiful car you had. I have to say out of all the evos I have owned my absolute favourite was my Red 9 never caused me any problems run like a dream the only one I ever regretted selling.

I had a blue sst 300 but the gear box went at 20k miles on clock was a nightmare

That blue 9 is a fair machine. Love looking at jap cars, just never been brave enough to buy one.

    Cheers
