Not when you start closing in on a deal with an open-minded dealer. I’m on 5.1%

On new cars? I’ve never known a dealer to lower Aprs on a factory order??

Who says that it needs to be a factory order? Mine was unregistered stock and I’m sure, unless the new RS6 totally bucks a long-standing trend, that there’ll be plenty of those to choose from in the dealer network.

Think I’m in danger of going round in circles here. You said the APR would be 6.9% My point is that regardless of what’s on Audi’s website, 6.9% is not necessarily the APR you will pay.

There were better than advertised deals on a factory order as well but I choose a well-specced car that was already built and secured an even better deal as a result.

I’m not a master-haggler by any means. I simply gave the dealer a target to hit and they used a variety of tools at their disposal to hit it. Other dealers I spoke to happily walked away.

So that reads like you have a done deal and it’s coming soon? .... be very interested to see pictures and hear feedback. Having recently had 2 Audis the new ones don’t really do it for me with all their touchscreens and bling, but the RS6 will be immense...

No no no... I'm talking about the RS5 that I currently have. Not an order on an RS6. Order books on the RS6 aren't even open yet and I'm not due to change for a while. The RS6 is the first motor I've been interested in for a while but I'm still keen to see what the new M3/M4 will bring. Also considering going down the SUV route (never had one before) so X6M and GLE 63S Coupe are also potential contenders. Will be a good while before I place an order for anything else though (if I stay sensible that is.... not something I'm known for to be fair!).

    Ah, thanks for clarification.

No comment on the SUVs listed... other than looks clearly don’t matter to you!

Sensible. And expensive cars. In the same post. I think not....

To be fair, I cant see me going for any of those ahead of the RS6 - Will only be if I cant afford the RS. But then The new M3/4 might or C63 might be mega so we'll see.

If the rumoured grilles on the new 4 series and M3 are true, that might be off the list...

Holy god Davey , that’s the price of a small house, but I bet it’s as big as one as well and will move quicker than the house presently:muttley:

so is your order number one? You won’t get into BMW HQ in that
