I dont know, i think its s*it if many of u spun bearings..but honestly its not common over here, we have very good releation with the local BMW workshop in our city and they say the same thing, they always use Castrol edge oil on M engines.

Any more updates/videos on this kit running??

Do you have more dyno figures along with before & after?? What are the final BHP/torque figures?

    What does the kit weigh??

jamie, I don't think its just oen guy. All the people I have talked to from Europe also say that they have never heard of any other oil being used in the E36 M3's other than TWS (since its release of course). For what it's worth, when i wrote off to BMW UK they also replied with TWS and/or any other LL98, '01 and '04 lol which is a very wide spread of viscosities!!

Also quite a few of the specialists in the UK also use TWS/edge 10W60 in the E36's.

Have done some pass vs the M5 V10 but no film sorry, that movie were filmed with a iphone...not Hollywood cast ;)

It really runs great, pulls hard and feels very distinct in all gears and revs.

We havent found any direct issues with it, it runs smooth and even all over the rev´s and retards ignition when hot, adds ignition when cold..controll of everything important as it should, its a very good SW we send along with the kit.

We have plans to do a Ethanol map but it has to wait, we are in the final stage of our Alpha N SW for the M5 V10...

We put out well over 500hp at the crank with highest grade fuel avaible, lower weight than both M3E92 and M5E6X, there isnt a big problem..the M5 can be a even run some times though but it can depend on where u are on the curve :)

I will see if i have time tomorrow to do a cpl of pulls vs our -08 M5 before we do our hardware change on it, most likley not but not impossible!
