Hi Guys, a quick intro to myself and the new motor, my name is John I have recently bought a manual 2009 E92 in Jerez black, 77,000 miles, 3 owners & mostly BMW main dealer S/H
Being a pre LCI car, built in 2008 with the early type bearings they are one of the first things on the agenda, later down the road I will swap out the actuator gears when I get chance, other than that there are no mega plans for it, just to enjoy ownership, keep it tidy and one day be able to sell to fund somethings else, maybe M5 M4 M2 shaped if the prices were to overlap.
I have been a long time lurker on the site but this is my first M car, previous BMW history goes something like:
    E30 325i cab
E30 320i coupe (low miles, low owners, near mint condition but very beige!)
    2x E36 318is coupe
    E36 320i coupe
    2x E36 325TDS touring
    E39 525D touring
    E46 330D touring

So you could say I am a fan, she joins my Impreza P1 that is currently undergoing a tidy up with a 600+BHP closed deck engine build and my Renault clio 1.5Dci daily :lolwsign:

Welcome along! Lovely e92. For what it’s worth I’ve come from M4 to my e92 and you know what, I love it better, and I REALLY did love that M4CS!

Nice car welcome, Jerez black look amazing in the sun/light especially when polished. The blue tinge is really nice.

Buy some replica Comp CSL style wheels in black from CM wheels when you can, and also the front splitters. It will finish the car off nicely, also the kidney grill in back.

I wouldn't bother changing the throttle body actuators out until they actually go, they will go for sure at some point. But when they go the car is still able to drive, just passed 3k revs I think it starts to spazz out.

Jason rebuild is the man to see when they go
