I can’t understand all the negative comments, I think it looks great, especially the grills.
It’s bold, aggressive and different from the boring G20 3 series.
I can’t wait to see this front on an M3, with some extra M bits it could look similar to the hommage concept.
And where exactly will the front plate go? Right across the middle of that grill? Well that’s just great lol
Yeah I agree mate, give it a year or 2 we will all have them anyways and discuss how much better they are than our old F8x’s
Looks like an Infiniti Q50 in profile with a shytty £2 Korean grille set stuck on it.
There is only the colour making that look acceptable,it will look honking in a lot of colour combo's.
I genuinely can't work out if its serious or a joke.
I’ve never been an Alpina Fan, but this looks pretty awesome. 462hp as well!
I think this is stunning.
Bravo BMW for being bold again. I remember when Audi went from relatively discreet grille to the current 'full-face' theme and Clarkson typically and mercilessly mocked it with his fizzogle expressions.
The thing is BMW are now doing the same by challenging its customer base. And where better to start with the low volume 7 series facelift (literally!)? I've seen a few 7's out and about as well as in showrooms and the big gawping grille is not so bad. I'm actually liking it a lot.
This 4-series concept is a test of the water and whilst we probably all like its form (a tad delicate?), the challenging grilles are there for all to see. Other than outright abjection from all quarters (press, public, related third party interests - AC, Alpina), this is close to the 'look' BMW will move forward with.
I like it already and will happily trade my M5 for the upcoming M3 Comp. Especially with gawping grilles .
Apart from E30 Alpina I have never really loved them but that looks great to me
That Alpina is stunning. Never usually a fan of them but that one is beautiful.
Nail on the head. Glad someone else saw it, thought it was just me
And it still looks pig ugly now!
Not as ugly as the E63 6 Series IMO.
The bells palsy of the BMW range
