First response is that it's pretty hideous. No cohesion. However BMW more often that not get it right so it may grow on me.

    God no.

Don’t like the Japanese style headlight shape and the rear is awful.

I'll reserve judgement until they release the SE edition with the poverty spec headlights (halogen) given how horrific base spec F gens look -

In the context of M-Sport trim in general i'm liking the front of it, while the headlights will be polarizing for many i'm personally a fan, the tail-lights look like they've come from Audi, the rear quarter reminds me of the current Lexus IS.

I'm looking forward to seeing where they take this for the new 4-series and upcoming M4.

Not for me. Always been a bmw fan but feel I'm starting to like Mercedes a lot more.

From the photos I wasn’t a fan. But seeing the video, it looks better. Like with most new releases it’ll probably take some time for me to get used to it. The ambient blue lighting inside is v cool, copying MB?!

I agree, i think it is a bit souless but iv thought that about every 3 series release (apart from the e46 - i loved that out the box) the video does do more justice than the piks, looking forward to seeing the m variant!

    Regardless, they'll sell millions.

Given the high praise of the F90 M5, I'm expecting the next M3/M4 to be quite something.

You are not alone in that thought.

They actually flow along the shadowline not that it would bother me. I won't be buying a four door family saloon.:D

Don't like the grilles, don't like the radar sensor on the front (looks like an after thought).

Really don't like the rear lights (don't know why, but they remind me of the lexus lights fad).

Don't like the massive cup holder / phone charger cover and not keen on the dials.

I did like the stitching on the airbag though :muttley:

not fussed on it, too much crap you'll never ever use in it, and its bigger than a bloody 5 series!

The back end looks pretty good.

Front end looks like a 5 series though.

I really like it. When did anyone think the 3 series is a masterpiece design, the current 3er isnt exactly that nice but this looks sharper and well designed. No doubt the 4er will look nicer. The interior looks a very nice place to be. I like how BMW are switching up with times and looking ahead.

here is a more authentic presentation for those that find Shmee's voice annoying as fook!
