Ever since my Dad bought a 318i in 1991, I've heralded the M3 as my top attainable dream car. Finally the moment came to go shopping!

Whilst my heart said estoril blue e36 or imola red e46, I had to be realistic as prices are steep in Spain. A manual coupe for less that 25k EUR is rare indeed.

So prioritising a manual and FSH over anything else, I ended up with a silver/black vert. I know a silver vert is lowish on the wish list but the history is excellent and has the km equivalent of around 80k miles.

Seeing as I cannot actually drive it anywhere while Spain continues to be in virus lockdown, I thought I'd share a few pics.

    Thanks for the welcoming messages.

All I’ve been able to do so far is give the leather a good feed.

Oh and I checked the age of the tyres...

    Rears are 2012
    Fronts are 2007 !!!

Looks like the first job is replacing those black circles

Very nice, what’s the gauge for just near the armrest? I bought my m3 at the start of this month and also have tyres that are from 2007! Not sure what to put on it yet though!

Good spot! The gauge is battery level. The previous owner said he spent a lot of time travelling and wanted to keep an eye on the battery for when he returned. It’s been fitted in really well so I think I’ll keep it.

I think I’m going to go for 4 new Michelin Pilot Sports with an alignment.
