I read about this after I'd ordered them.

Sealed each individual slab before laying them with Lithofin sealant, then sealed again a week later with lithofin colour intensifier, and finally around a Month later I coated them in lithofin stain stop plus.

Its expensive stuff, but made them look brilliant. The photo above is after they'd been treated with the colour intensifier but before the stain stop plus.

nice result! didn't think you'd fit the 2 in there but you have. how come you didn't go for a slightly wider garage door at the front?

Wider door would have been more practical and I could have probably got away with a foot wider.

The other reasons were that I didn't want the garage to look too big for the house and too fancy for the area. I think a bigger door might have looked overpowering next to the house.

Cost was another consideration. I needed maximum bang for buck where it mattered so things like the smaller doors and cheaper insulation helped a little and the money was spent elsewhere, like the RSJs etc.

It is a pain though as the M3 wing mirrors leave around an inch each side and because I drive in at an angle it doesn't leave much room for error.

Thanks Gaz, and to all who left comments, especially Mandy for such a nice sincere comment!

Problem is, you should see the state of the inside of the house.... Been here over a year now and the work so far seems like just the beginning.

Got a large run down kitchen but don't have the design flair to make it something special without paying mega amounts for professionals.
