    ... And the availability of spares. No spacers are required if using the 5575 6pot AP's which most owners will be.

    Now that is interesting, wish I would have know sooner. I have to run 10 mm spacers. Anyone know how much of a difference in performance there is between AP and Brembo if any?

    Blimey thread revival from 2013!

    AP's are the nuts especially with Pagid RS29 pads. I've been running AP's for about 6 years

    Alyn of AS Performance is the man to speak to for Pagid and AP

    Having had Alcons on my E60 M5, I'd definitely go for AP. Not that there's anything wrong with Alcon, just the aftersales is woeful, and you have next to no pad choices.

    I believe there are more choices with the (smaller) E46 caliper, but not compared to the AP setup, where you have literally pages and pages of available pad types
