Andrew Tasker.......has he been racing in the states?
Not that I know of, he`s been across in brno recently for a trackday?
Myself and my ride buddy have traded in our Diavels for BMW S1000rr's. Christ, they are fast. The Diavels were quick, but these are on another level. Not the torgue grunt of a V Twin, more of an insane, very addictive, top end rush. They are quite flexible engines as well, the bikes handle fab, stop great and aint too bad on fuel. BUT WAY TOO QUICK !!
Stunning! I have had two S1000RRs and they're in a different league, well was when they came out. Brutal power, but also a great package, they do everything so well.
I build and maintain race bikes for living, in fact I was involved in the building of the MV that Martin pictured at the start of this thread, we worked together in 2007 BSB SSK, fast that lad, and bloody clever, that MOTO 2 bike is awesome.
Currently not riding on the road, just sold my KTM 1290 super duke to fund M4.
Got a few race bikes, mostly Honda's but mostly sat gathering dust now.
Not much of a biker but i ride this that i built! Its not the fastest thing but its nice to get out on it for a very steady ride!
Is a 1976 cb250 g5
That is very cool! I wish I had the time to put together a little cafe racer to pop out on during the summer.
That MV looks like a serious but of kit. I stopped riding on the road about 5 years ago and sold my track bike recently due to lack of time and funds after our second baby. Hopefully get back into one day though...
The LEGEND that is Wurz!! damn nice to hear from you mate!! I hope all is well with you? Good choice on an M4, when I can bring myself to part with the V8 I'll be looking at an M4 to replace it.
All good here mate, still playing with bikes!
Really enjoying the M4, been a while since I had a toy car so learning how to drive again
What you busy with, any new builds on the cards?
I am getting on a bit now so have slowed down and ride large Yamaha cruisers
My 07 Roadstar 1700cc has now done 54K miles and apart from tyres and brake pads had a new battery last year, an old plodder that is comfortable and reliable
My 13 Raider SCL [ star custom line ] 1900cc I bought of USA e bay and imported it myself, it is one of only 2 in the country, a different bike, very capable and now nice to be able to switch between the 2.
There is also my daughters ZZR1400 in the stable, which lives with me, she used to ride it like she stole it but has also slowed down with maturity.
Well one of the newist members here but been around bikes for years and have this 2001 rsv milie r
And a 2014 victory hammer s le
I had the rs250 in Diablo too but stupidly sold it around ten years ago and got peanuts for it!!
New on hi all, always had bikes final road bike was an RC30 before heading to the track, road raced in the early'90's started on Kawa KR1-S signed off novice license and bought an open class TZ250, ended up on a Honda RS250R,gave up, messed about on track days, got bored, bought a classic 1968 Porsche 911,it caught fire, moved on to enduro,i only race, been doing that on and off since 2005, now on a Husqvarna TE250i TPI and itsi the best bike I've enduro'd
On here as a E46 M3 has always been my must have car,so looking for one ATM
Test rode this and a HP4 today, definitely getting a Ducati next.
For some reason I’m getting the urge to buy a Muscle Bike in addition to my S1000RR. Something like a Yamaha XJR1300 or Suzuki GSX1400.
New kawasKawZ range look retro good
I ended up putting a deposit down in the new 2019 S1000RR M sport, looking like I'll be waiting until May for it but should be worth it.
Carbon wheels are complete porn.
I was considering it but ended up trading my S1000rr (2011) in for a 1299 Panigale S.
I was also looking at a gen 3 s1krr but the 1299 did it for me.
^ Seen your posts on the S1000 forum!
I was set on a Panigale but too worried about track noise limits to risk it to be honest.
Not an issue for me, no noise testing at Knockhill. Plus if I do any days down south I’ll use either the R1 or cb500.
I did Oulton the other day and there was a V4 there, loud as so not sure how that managed to pass, I have heard that the Ducati’s get some kind of leaway but whether that’s true or not I don’t know.
I’ll maybe do one track day next year on the Ducati, I’m looking forward to it. The sense of occasion with the Ducati is way more than the BMW, aesthetically more pleasing as well.
