Just seeing how many bikers on here? What's your history and what do you ride etc? Anybody do track days?

I've been around bikes since I was 2 and started racing in 1998, did 10 years up to British Superbike support class called Superstock 1000. Currently do track days on a home built Moto2 bike.

    Superstock 1000 on MV Agusta

    Lovely bike mate!

I had a lot of road bikes and motocross bike. Couldn't list them all! lol

Don't have any road bikes at the moment :(

I have been thinking about a track bike though....!

Still riding motocross since aged 10 though!

I will post up some pics later of bikes I had / got.

    Currently riding a 2015 KX250F and have a 2004 RM125.

The RM125 is for sale if anyone is interested :)

Nice. In too chicken **** to race. On a 2K7 CBR600RR.

Started in '96 on a friends CBR600 F3. Only rode for a year or so. Picked it back up in 2009 with the current bike. Don't ride all that much to be honest these days. But still enjoy going out from time to time.

This wasn't the actual one, but the color scheme.[IMG]

I expected some Norton 750 Commando's and Triumph Bonnie's to appear here by now. Given many still have old cars tucked away here where's all the bikes hidden?

    Think I'm getting old :muttley:

Wow some nice bikes posted up!!

Railgun, was your F3 an import? Cant say I've seen that paint scheme before.

I had a few MX bikes, I had a KX500 supermoto on the road then got banned for wheelying that's why I started racing. A good job too really because I've lost a lot of mates riding on the road, I'd advise anybody against riding on the road and go do trackdays or racing.

Jas M3, was the APRC the one with the active suspension?

I'm a biker. Currently on my second BMW S1000RR (2015 - K46). It's pretty rapid at 199bhp out the box. Had a 2012 version before that and that had 193bhp.

    Before that I had a 2004 Honda CBR1000RR.

My first bike was a Honda CBR600 FX.

Trackdays I've done are at Donnington and Silverstone :)

I'm so impressed with the BMW S1000, to go up against the Jap manufacturers who have been at it so long and to be so good straight away shows how good BMW are does nt it.

That's not you on the bike at the bottom of your post then? That's not Donny or Silverstone.

No mate that's not me, just a pic taken from the net. Same with the M3 :peace:

But yes, really impressed with the S1000RRs, they came in and shocked the Japs.

Had a candy blue 21bhp one myself that got repeatedly nicked as it was well known in the area good blowing away all the fancy fully faired 125's by a mile. Didn't run far behind my mates lads 250LC, another mate had the 350LC which I often borrowed, spent more time on the back wheel than on two wheels. If I had flipped it, he would have done time for me. Happy days :D

Bikes had real character then like the katana's etc

I started on an SRAD GSXR 600, followed that with a K4,K6, and a K7 750. Then took delivery of my 1st S1000R followed by a 2012 model. Amazing bikes.

Currently between bikes but hoping to get a track bike after i collect my M4 in Sept.

I'm a biker...though I guess most of you would class me as a tractor driver as I've owned HD's for the last 20 years...here's one I built earlier...

I had a string of large capacity bikes, culminating in this, if any of you can remember, the FZR1000 EXUP was one of best in its day.
I sold it in 1994, after birth of my son, and not been on one since!
I have toyed with the idea of an R1 but not yet plucked up the courage to get on one!
Fast bikes are a lot cheaper than fast cars...but also a lot more dangerous!
But still every time I see an R1 I think about it...

Will never forget the shoot out Performance Bikes did with one of these, a Lamborghini Countach and a Metro 6R4. The bike passed the Lambo on the back wheel!

From memory the aprc (aprilia performance ride control) had 8 levels of traction control that could be adjusted whilst riding, anti wheelie, launch control, quickshifter and abs
