Had the new M850i out for a test today, got to be said it absolutely killed my M6 comp on traction, virtually no interference from the traction control it just took off in sub 4 degree temps. Tech on the car is outstanding a real step up on the F series, not sure on the rear styling but other than that the car looks purposeful on the road.

Overall think BMW have nailed it with this car, seems to have a good blend of M car and luxurious cruiser all in one.

Price point seems a bit ambitious £110 000 for demo I tested, can't really see them flying out the door but a great car in the £60-£70 grand bracket in two years time.

Apologies for the crap iPhone photos.

    Not an M3 :(
Does it feel big to drive? What's it like size-wise compared to your M6?

Such a shame the rear of it is so ugly.

Didn't feel too big, don't know if that's just because I'm used to the 6 ? It's actually smaller dimensionally than the M6 which surprised me.

I did, although not ideal conditions it did feel well planted, don't think it would be far behind the M6 if at all.
