Remember with my GTR came to end of two year agreement with Black Horse and refinanced with them on the phone - sold car a few months later and then received a cheque for £2.5k from Black Horse - they had reviewed the call and the commission they took had not be explained so all interest I had paid since renewal was returned - happy days!

    Yes mate, few issues

    In Brief

    Wrong trim on collection
wrong tyre paramiters set from Germany meaning all warning lights wouldnt go off
    Faulty reverse cam
wing mirrors randomly folding in when driving
boot kept opening of its own accord
loose screws in dash causing rattles
Seat panel not fitted correctly causing rattles
    very loud squealing from brakes

in with the dealer for a month out of the 2 month ownership, software problems were still not fixed and they said to get to one of the rattles they would have to take the full dash out, to be fair to them it was them who suggested taking it back which i jumped at

In the new Audi RS5 Sportback sport edition now and very pleased with it

Surely you wouldn't give Derby the time of day after the way they have treated you mate?

Nick you have a point, but if the deal is strong I’m not sure if I should question my scruples as such - no point cutting my nose off to spite my face. I didn’t discuss numbers as I was only calling in as my oil light popped up requesting a top up.....2nd time in 6 months.

I have blown a fortune on the house move, so when I get round to selling my old house I do think I will treat myself, but not sure on what. Need a doggie carrier for the wife and something for me.

Love the M5 stats, but it a big car that I don’t need from a family point of view

Well, I tried Peter Vardy as I miss my M3 so much, so thanks for the heads up on the deal. Porsche Macan is a lovely thing but the dogs don't go in it that much so I am thinking of getting back in to an M car. They got very close to a deal but I won't pay an extra 70 a month at the moment and, yes, I know the M5 is light years ahead of the Macan. I'm still thinking about it and how to complete a deal. Tremendous discount on what is an unbelievable car. The M5 is a total monster. I tried to deal for an M4 the other week but couldn't make the numbers work only being 10 months into the Macan PCP. Not a million miles away though on the M5.

Drool wiped, brow furrowed. I don't know what they did with the numbers so I can't share what I don't know. They just said they could give s strong offer on the Porsche and it would be 920 a month with 1k in.

    Hmmm.

I think you need to find out what they did do with the numbers rather than just accepting them telling you how much a month it is???

I have spent to much money of late, so I’m in no rush. At heart I’m a petrol head, but getting my new pad ready has taken both my attention and investment. As suggested to Nick I was only in the dealer for a service pack oil top up, but I really shouldn’t be allowed in to garages.....soooo tempting.

Back to your question...no. If I tried either variant I would just collapse and get duly bummed, leading to a row with Davegal as to who was the best :muttley:
