I like that a lot. I’ll wait until Sh1tner put that remaining unsold cars into the market at £40k less than list though

That looks and sounds the business!! Very very nice.

Ever since the M drivers day at Silverstone, I’ve always said alpine white is the nicest car for the M5comp, with brown interior :shades: and that white CS looks superb.

I wonder if these are US spec cars testing without OPF’s?
Could be one if the last good looking BMW’s with normal grilles.

I am waiting for that too, the CS, nope no different to the Comp if you ask me and will have a silly price tag.

Yes, expressed an interest in the CS a while back, and have my name down against one. One of the reasons I sold my M5. Will be a rare beastie, my dealers say they are only getting two cars, and BMW are “Letting you know, if you are a good enough M customer, to have one” :D. Been thinking about Porsche again, but just keep coming back to the M5, such a fab car, and 650hp in this machine, which will probs be nearer 680hp ?, Yum Yum, gonna rip that NC500 apart in this monkey :)

Will be slightly different John, and will only weigh as much as two double deckers, instead of three :D, 650hp, and the usual CS treatment I suppose. Let’s wait and see. At least I’m in the mob of customers, bashing BMWs door down for this vehicle :muttley:

I hope the price does not outweigh the performance.;)

There is no doubt about it, the price for early cars will be high, but for the presumed performance, quality and usability, its a question of, you buy into it, or you dont. Ive had Porsche on the brain this last two months, and ive given up with them, again. The new 992 Turbo S is £155k list, bare bones, then you start on the options list. You only need this and that, that then turns into half of the list, so you are now up to £175k. Then there maybe Porsches 10% import tax on top of that. You are now at nearly £200k, for a car that is admittedly quicker, but only slightly quicker than the M5.I admit the Porsche is definitely more of a sports car, than the BMW, but the M5 can knock spots off it, in the qualities it has to offer.
I also know i could buy a lightly used M5, and fiddle with it, and for a few $, i could have probably more performance than the CS, but, to be honest, im wanting a new car.

Been looking lightly, nothing out there compares at the price, car does everything well. I am looking for the LCI but not paying what they are asking at the moment and TBH none have sold , by Christmas sales of high end cars will drop a lot IMO, so that could be move time for me, mine has just turned 10K miles drives as new exhaust sounds much better too. I've got a few miniature stone chips on the lower front and thats it, still looks as good as new, current WBAC offering £63500.00 but I am not biting.;)

These just do very little for me. I can't afford one, but it's not sour grapes, I just think it looks and sounds a bit dull. Shame as it looks very capable.

Got those but with miles it has got louder in Sport and Sport+, the sound is good IMO not too over the top.

If you listen to the footage, the car sounds very different to me, especially when it goes out of sight, behind the trees, and starts echoing, there is something definitely there different to me. Im sure the car in the video will also have OPFs. Will just wait and see, but come on John, its certainly not worse than your comp car ?.

Depends on how you interpenetrate it, hold off till we see/test one for real.

God I hope interpenetrating isn’t the only way to improve the noise :D It’s good to know they do improve with miles, as I think here cars sill demand a bit of aural theatre.
