This forum has got to be one of the most active forums in UK for the M owners.
I have seen with many other forums old school and later type once a facebook page is launched the main forum just dies out I seriously hope that doesn't happen here on cutters.

Facebook is good and all that but before you know it you will have all sorts joining up.

Seen the same happen with e30zone / bmw5forum etc both very quite on the main net pages now.

    Not an M3 :(
I have considered this, but wasn't really sure what I'd post on there. It would be good for the Gaydon BMW show though.

Generally I don't get how any person could see FB pages as a replacement for dedicated forums. I find FB a pretty horrible place to be, mostly. The main reasons I started the page are 1) People expect it and 2) It does have genuine use as an alternate line of communication, particularly when the site has gone down in the past.

I don't ever want people to use it instead of the site though!

FB groups often reach out to a new audience, so we're broadening the span of M3cutters and its community. It can only be a good thing!
