hello fellow m3 guys wondering if anyone can shed some light on a knocking sound which seems to be coming from the n/s rear of my 2004 e46 convertible it's just turned 93k on the clock the knocking is most noticeable when driving over speed bumps I heard somewhere that it maybe a suspension like arm as the tyre pressure warning activates as well having checked all pressures are correct and resetting the system it's fine for a while but the warning light comes on yet all tyre pressures are OK has anyone had this problem cheers

Just to be safe check it isn't a broken spring. I noticed a random metallic clonk at low speed and it turned out to be a broken front spring!

Doubt it, the subframe noise is more of a ‘creak’ type sound.

OP - it’s probably a broken spring or your RTABs are shot. It could also be one of your diff bushes.

Best thing to do is to put it on a ramp and take a look.
