Not heard of anyone getting a discount, surprised they've given that much off tbh but good luck to you!
Broadspeed and Coast 2 Coast offering those discounts without factoring in negotiation so should be achievable.
Not heard of Coast 2 Coast before, thanks for that.
Think you would be mad to pay full price personally - got to be some discount in there....
After all its a BMW 2'er not a GT3 RS or La Ferrari...:roflmao:
So you're saying that the respective manufacturers saw the buyers of said models coming and took them to the cleaners?
I suppose the old adage about a fool and their money being easy to part may generally hold true, but you'd like to hope that the investment Bankers buying these things might have a modicum of negotiation skills...
Ordered M2C yesterday with 4.5% discount in the end. Could I have got more, maybe but I get the car in early October with 2.9% PCP over 4 years so am happy with that.
Well done! Why would they give a discount on a car they'll have no trouble selling??? They must like you!!
nice one! congrats! out of curiosity what dealer did you go through and how did you go about negotiating your discount.... i'm just about to start looking into getting an order down myself so would be useful to know what dealers offer what so i can try and put some pressure on my local one!
I've seen a 2-year lease deal @ £3.5k deposit and £410+VAT month.
Interesting, I was just looking at deals today. The reviews are very promising. Any word on build slot availability, is it reasonable or are we looking at 3 or 4 per dealership per year?
Mate who owns a Fleet company.
If you stick the essentials on M2 Plus Pack, camera and speed limit display, it’s another £100
My local dealer said 2 slots per dealer per year. This year's were already taken and one from next year as well, but he said that one was actually coming in this year, so if I wanted slot "4" it would likely be early next year.
(So obviously he laughed when I asked about discounts!)
What dealer mate as I went to configure a car today but Stratstone Derby were reluctant on anything
I know of an 8% deal
8% seems optimistic.
If they do things the same as last time round they will "restrict" orders through the dealers. This gets people who want to define their loptions on board, at close to list price. Then they will gradually start making pre-reg cars whilst keeping the dealer slots limited. The dealers will then offer some deals on these cars whilst talking up the scarcity, claiming they're still hard to get hold of, etc etc. Then eventually people will realise they can order 6-8 weeks ahead and they will start pumping out loads of them at a discount.
Yeah I guess you can either afford a 55k car or you can't. I booked a slot at full price, but undecided whether I actually want to spend 55k on a BMW....... Always bought second hand before because you can get a much better car for less.
They said this with the first m2 when I asked , within a month they were on the phone trying to sell me one they had in the showroom
I know for a fact the salesman I order my cars through , specced 3 cars in for this year before Christmas , and these weren’t customer specs , they were specs he chose. due in october
