Are you going to say the same thing about the Competition when the CS comes out.

I think it was the ' stupid purchase ' statement that was unnecessary as maybe the M2 is affordable whereas the Competition isnt to a lot of people.

All in the eye of the beholder of course and I love my early M2 and all it offers.

There is plus and minus for both models i agree the competition front bumper and mirrors look better and obviously the M4 seats are much better than the standard M2 seats which aren’t great the strut brace is also a nice addition but the rear exhaust box isn’t.

But having driven both the M2 comp sounds awful in comparison to the orginal M2 and you can feel the extra weight on the front end with the comp with the heavier engine.
In my opinion the original M2 feels lighter and better balanced and yes the S55 is more easily tuned but in an M2 you dont want much more than 450 bhp.

Horses for courses. The m2 comp is just the new m2. Not a special edition (CSL for ecampl
Someone’s very sensitive about this issue.

cant compare the m4 and m4 gts as the gts is double the price of the m4 brand new. The m2 comp is just a new m2. Similarly priced when new.

Many thanks for the positive comments...plus I love how my pictures stimulate debate...:muttley:
For reference, here is one of the nicest M2 Comps I have seen.
It is Waynes (@Penetrator ) and I snapped him here leaving a meet couple weeks ago.
We are hoping to do a proper photo shoot at some point.

Well, I can't think of anything I would change him for really :D there's nothing I'd rather have at the moment.
E93 and F83 are too big for me as they wouldn't fit in my garage, nor would a v8 mustang convertible, and I actually prefer my E46 to any of those. However, I do like the long beach blue M2s and they are more my size, but I'd have to have a convertible - I quite liked the look of the Lightweight one that was posted on here ages ago... just need BMW to make one for me, to see if I fancy it... :muttley:

The difference in size is less than you think Mandy, with mine being a little lower and only marginally wider.

Oh... M2 might not fit either then... I thought the M2 looked about E46 size (which is quite a tight fit!)?
Those two new pics are great shots, both cars look amazing together
