Bit of a ball-ache for the sake of a couple of quid surely?

How much is the 240 grill? I paid just over £160 for my M2 black grill and they fitted it.

The 240i grill is around £80. It takes about 10 mins to remove your original M2 grill. 10 mins to swap the chrome surround from your M2 grill with the black 240 surround. 10 mins to fit the new all black grill to your M2. Quite satisfying doing it yourself especially if you're as crap at DIY as I am ;)

Also the black side markers to replace the chrome ones are a 5 minute job and cost £80 too.

As above, not difficult at all. Quite annoying that BMW have stuck a hefty M tax on the M2 item for what must be in increase in manufacturing costs of about 10pence

Hi guys, am I correct in thinking Stuart at Fairburn Kircaldy is the only person who will supply the M240 outer grill separately? If so, please could someone provide contact details?

    Many thanks in advance

No he sells the out and inner as one product for £80. Same as everybody else. But it’s very easy to swap the M2 inner with the M240 inner to give you a black grill.

Has anybody come out with a carbon fibre one yet. Also for the sides?

Just FYI my local dealer offered the M240 gloss black grill for £110 and after some haggling said £94 was the best they could do - figured that wasn't too terrible so took the plunge!

Exrallyman its a good deal if you like them. If you can make them for cheaper then I’ll buy some off you.

I don’t have them personally but there is no need to post such a daft response. It’s just weird.
