    Hi all,

Through a colleague at work I have negotiated supply of BMW M12 x 1.5 Ti-6Al-4V5 wheel studs and nuts in 75mm and 85mm if required.

Where this starts to go a bit of a different route is we have specced these to be BULLET NOSED, not socket headed like other kits available online. I personally didn't want to use socket headed studs as I find them too easy to scrape on the inner barrel of the wheel stud hole, where a chamfered edge will just glide through.

    Plus, because racecar right?

£300 delivered in the UK. No limit to the amount of sets, but I intend to place a large order in the next 2 weeks. So I'd look for around 4 weeks from the time I post this message to first deliveries, but I will of course keep everyone interested in the loop. I can't stress enough that this timeframe is fluid but the latest batch arrived in a similar manner.

So... I'm looking for people to register interest (or, if you're serious, a £50 deposit with the balance payable when the parts are in the UK) at this time and I'll get in contact with them directly next Monday the 11th of February if they want to take it further. If you can leave an answer below with what length you'd want that would be awesome. If you want to get the ball rolling, drop me a message on here.

Welcome to contact me for any further info (a few of you know me, so I hope my reputation stands up ).

Please see below to see the Porsche spec studs and nuts (M14x1.5) received today for a separate order. The intention is that ours are exact M12 copies without the laser etched company branding. Instalation is done by the simple double nut method and they don't require huge torque to tighten, just firmly seating them with a normal spanner will be fine. I use Loctite 242 and a small smear of copper grease every now and again on the studs to eliminate any risk of torque relaxation and thread galling.

    The quality is absolutely superb.

    Thanks all

    James

How will you connect those studs into the hub? There is no means(judging by pic) to do so,no hex/or similar slot in them! Am I missing something?

They will be fitted by double nutting the stud!

What will be the size of the nuts? 20mm?
Is that the only finish you will offer?
In particular looking for to that finish (see pic)..

Are the threads on these rolled or cut?

I heard rolled thread is better than CNC one.
The one on the pic I supplied think CNC

    Hi Chaps,

Thanks for the questions I’ll answer all later today when I get home from work.

    Me again.

To answer your questions, yes they’re rolled threads. As I said before, the sets I’ve already had delivered for the Porsche’s have been excellent quality.

The nut size can be 17 OR 19mm same as the usual steel stud/nut combos that are out there.

The surface finish options are either blued or natural titanium. To be honest if you’re looking for a particular ‘look’ these probably arent for you. These are race spec studs for function (primarily corrosion resistance and then weight) not visuals.

If we have 5 takers I’ll happily pull the trigger on a batch. It’ll take about 4 weeks from placing the order to having parts in hands and ready for install.

    Hi Terry,

Yeah they can, but I need minimum order quantities to do them. So I'd need at least 5 people after the larger M14's before I can make any.

On another note, I've got a few sets which will arrive in the next couple of weeks so will post up on here some pictures of the actual sets so you can all see the quality. I'll also do some fitted shots as well for those of you interested in what spacer sizes can be run.

    Cheers!

I should have the first batch with me in the next week or so :)

I'll confirm spacer sizing once I've physically measured everything up but I would expect the usual spacer sizes should all be accounted for.

OK folks. Got 5 sets left after people saw them fitted over the weekend and paid up! They look superb.

The quality as expected is great, the machine work and rolling is perfect. I estimate a 15mm spacer will be no problem, maybe higher if required, but that would be some wheel!

So, ready to ship. I'll 48hr UPS them included in the price. £300 makes them cheaper than all other titanium studs on the market and also in my opinion a better design. I rounded three of my old steel studs off when removing them with the 5mm alan key, they had corroded so much! No more trouble with these!

Please PM me for payment details.

    Thanks
