Anyone fitted the carbon exhaust tips to their car and been undecided on the look? Fitted mine and can’t help but wonder if they look a bit boy racer!

Might be because the car is filthy and the tips are spawning clean so they stand out a bit!

I was contemplating the MP ones myself but these were reps and looked a little Max Power for my liking. So I went with the black ceramic BMS ones, larger than stock but look OEM.

I’ve got “Ed’s” M-Perf reps which looked great for approx 15 months but the lacquer is now beginning to peel :bh:

I’ve always said the Ti genuine tips are the better option. Much cleaner looking, and stand out more against the diffuser.

100% agree with this, if I was to ever get an MPE I'd want the ti tips

yes, although as much as I like my Ti tips I’d quite like some more carbon lol

It’s funny how tastes change over time. I always used to prefer the carbon ones but it’s titanium for the win for me.

I fitted Carbon tips to mine and they look great. They just happen to have an MPE poking out the back of them.

Personally find the F8x gen 3 & 4's really do come across as unfinished bone stock compaired to the E9x esp. with the default chrome grills.

Gloss black grills, splitter, MPE tips and diffuser go a long way to uplift the exterior.

Does anyone know of a straight cut Ti aftermarket option? Preferable without any kind of logo cut into them ala Active Autowerk ones??

I like the aftermarket BMS tips, they look spot on but I do find it funny how many M owners on here laugh at people for putting M badges on a non-M cars and then go and stick fake MPE tips on their cars.

Buy an MPE and enjoy the full exhaust or leave it stock but wanna-be MPE exhaust tips are no better than people sticking M badges on 320Ds
