So my renewal is just about to come up on my e46 m3.
Whilst I'm waiting for AF to quote me, I thought I'd trawl the comparison sites.

Liverpool Victoria have come out at £269 fully comp on 5k miles with mods declared (Genuine CSL's & Eventuri).

My AF renewal last year was £460....

Do you think there are any pitfalls in going mainstream with LV on the m3 over the likes of brokers AF/Sky?

(Since 2016 AF have priced themselves out on my Honda CRV & r53 Cooper S, I didn't even ask them to quote my 3.2TT)

Af couldn’t insure my latest so I have to lose most of this years ncb changing, it was LV who came out the most competitive yesterday by far.

LV are very competitive at the moment, they were the cheapest on all the comparison sites...

    Lv cheapest with me also...
I was insured with AF on modified 350z, they wanted to cancel my 350 insurance and start a new policy for £1450 to swap to 46 m3 which is absolutly ridiculous.

LV came in at 850 with suspension mods, alloys and spacers. I'm 27 with 5 yrs NCB

Have been with LV for years. Most competitive for my M3CS, E60 M5 and E90 M3. I do look around at each renewal, but LV remain the best for me.

    Identical cover from LV £269.

Just tried to get a quote on the LV site and got the message saying that they won't insure me due to my age (E92 M3) and I'm 27. Sounds odd.

I've claimed off LV a couple of times on house insurance and on my wifes car insurance and they have always paid up swiftly and without fuss.

Down to engine size and age. Only some companies will insure you on a 4.0l under 35 year old
