    Hi All,

I've just made the leap to M3 ownership and have said goodbye to my 911 for the practicality and V8 goodness of an E90 LCI/DCT/EDT/LOL M3. Looking forward to getting to know the car and the forum; its already a big change to what i'm used to but the grin factor remains

Next stop - hunting for the hens teeth that is the oem carbon leather dash inserts!

Welcome mate, I have just done the same thing, got rid of my 997.2 cab but in my case for an e46 cab.... which I have secretly fancied since they first came out.

I have had a couple of 911's and don't get me wrong I loved them but I have to say on an entertainment to cost scale my M3 has got it nailed... looking for any excuse to get behind the wheel :D

I have both but must say am using the m4 much more these days. Those 991s are quite impractical.

But the 'connected' factor as I like to call it is sensational in the 911 - it felt like the car was an extension of the body when it came to driving (and this isnt just a reference to the downstairs area! :roflmao:)

I havnt quite found it yet with the M3 but i do all of a sudden have 4 doors and massive boot so i'll keep working away at it. big thumbs up for practicality and its nice to gain a few mod cons compared to the relatively spartan 911

Agree 100%. 911 defo better drive. There is no substitute for the 911s and the m cars dont even come close really. But i have two pre-teen kids and those back seats are just to small for anyone.

Some cf interior bits for the E92 M3 for sale in the for sale section, I think they'll be exactly what you're looking for
