    Hi Bud. Yes I have a MacBook Pro which I use for work, so I discounted that as I wanted to avoid the the temptation of work emails etc.

    Please advise :bow:

    Use the Macbook - even if you setup a separate profile so it's not the work profile and then edit your shots - it's a real PITA to try and edit video or pictures on the iPad compared to a Mackbook.

    Then you can pull the video data off your drone via the desktop and before you ask how . . .

    Apologies for the Dummies reference but the video is exactly what you need.

    I shall try to have a go with the mavic later. As suggested I bought the smart controller and perhaps hoped this would allow the transfer via Bluetooth.
