Just a heads up, if you do the CIC conversion you won't get bluetooth streaming, you also need to do the combox retrofit in order for that to available

Don't suppose anyone has a decent centre console laying around for an E93, need a nice black one :)

How come £50? i see the one for sale on here is £650

If i could just change the controller and buy a new centre trim , all in a couple hundred i could live with that. No to fussed about any extra functions as i hardly use them anyway

The combox can be got for around 50 if you shop around, the CIC is the big money item.

    Another quick question.

I'm running old CCC with only a TCU 1.5 box in the boot. I will upgrade to the new CiC controller anyway (once I can find the center console for an E93) however, would I also benefit from swapping my TCU to a Combox without changing head units. Would this give me bluetooth audio or do I also need the CiC head unit?

Sorry you'd also need the CIC unit to make it work :( Even with a CIC it needs to be on the later firmware versions in order to make the combox work :(

Ahh well, will just upgrade to the CiC controller and start saving up for the full CiC head unit retrofit :)

    Thanks mate.

Comboxes for £50 should be considered very rare indeed..... normal 2nd price for a e9x (bn2000) combox is IRO £100-£150, then you need the adapter kit (for gps, antenna and power plugs), expect to pay £60-£90 for the adapter kit alone.

Cic, base, screen and controller, is IRO £450-£550, more for the dab unit, £50 for recoding to you vin or emulator for nav operation.

Really? Didn't know that was the average price I must have struck really lucky when I ordered mine. I submitted an offer for £44 and the ebay seller accepted it :)
