Hi guys hope your good and well!

Few small updates to share soon but in the meantime I wanted to post a couple of pictures up from a lovely weekend I had with the M.

I set up a meet, one of many this year, this one of which fell on Sunday the 11th (just gone) welcome to all and any Bmws big or small and the outcome we had was brilliant, so thanks to you all who came, some cutters some aren’t but you know who you are all the same.

In the height of the meet I think we counted 28 Bmws and also managed to reunite some faces with some old friends! Fantastic!

Please join me in September for our next one on the 15th if your local to Suffolk.

    All the best

Have you decided whether or not you're selling it yet? Suffolk's a bit far but I'll save the date of the 15th and make sure I'm there. Looks like a good turnout!

Hey Benny it would be fantastic to see you, would be great if you guys could come along.

I really don’t want to sell the car but I’m getting married next year and just looking to fund that, I’m half way with costs and the venue is almost paid for (5 grand left) but I begrudge borrowing money if I can help it, we’ll see, worst case is I sell it but I’ll get another bmw and make sure I stick around on cutters to work my way back up the m3 ladder.

Unfortunately, I sold my last m3 to fund towards a deposit on our house so it does seem a little bit like history repeating itself but I made it back with a better car.
    ;)

I’m still 10 months away so I’ve got plenty of thinking time left, aha!

I’ll look forward to seeing you on the 15th and look around your lovely motor/show you mine.

    All the best

Hi guys hope your all well.

Been an itch for a while to fit these,
    5mm rear spacers.

The fronts were already out 20mm to cover the arch gap after the eibach springs but I felt it looked a little over kill and made the rears look hidden.

So with the 265 35 mpss tyre I’ve placed these on and it sits perfect.

    Very pleased.

    Hi guys and girls.

Hope your all well and good and having a lovely one,

We had a fantastic weekend with the M’.

She ticked over to 80k this morning which I’ve been dreading but “hay ho” that’s life.

After the rubbish weather had cleared up I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to give her a 80k birthday, so out came all the gear and I managed to indulge in about 3 hours worth of wax on wax off, very happy with the results.

As long as you guide him to the Fords of the past he will be fine.

Maybe it’s because he can do what he wants in it and doesn’t have to clean it.

    Cheers

I had Friday off work, we took mummy’s car to the amusements, I didn’t know weather to fold my legs or kneel on the seat aha! Disgusting!!

And they reckon women are clean creatures!

Your car looks fab, and your son's very good - he even uses the right colour cloth for your car :D

Still need to come along and see it in the flesh. Let’s arrange something before the weather changes.

Have you considered changing that pollen filter cover? Believe it or not the original colour is the same as those spring clips. Peanuts from the dealers too given the difference it makes.
Same goes for the washer jet grill on the bonnet.

You're ok James, I assumed you weren't including me in that comment :D I have to say I'm way better at keeping my car spotless than the house though... :oops2: Oops, did I say that out loud?
I haven't seen your car either, we'll be at Vanity Modified show next month, and Trax Silverstone early October - do you go to any shows?

    Hey stax

    Hope your well my friend.

I changed the bonnet grill, was only about £25 from Bmw but then they wanted around £40 for the pollen cover and I thought I would just change the white clips for now as it’s not as bad as others I’ve seen.

    All the best

You could paint the pollen filter cover - I had mine done in Estoril - just another idea if it bothers you a bit?

Edit: sorry, not sure if I'm talking about a different part...?!

I had the same thoughts as you Lambert when mine clicked over to 70k miles recently.

I had it in the 60k mileage range for the last four years :D
