    Hey guys,

Hope your enjoying your weekend so far.

    Little update,

I’ve had my front arches stripped back inside and re done to keep them from rotting.

This i understand usually comes from the splash guards rubbing whilst flexing.

We’ve done the stone chip protection and some underseal, should keep us happy motoring for a while.

Thought I would share some pictures.

Small updates, but more to come.

I’m happy with the peace of mind we’ve now got from the front arches, they are 100% again.

    All the best

    Thanks bud.

The arches were 95% percent mint already, (luckily).. so just a blow in over the repaired areas, Scotch and re lacquer.

    Cheers

    Hi Tom,

    Thanks for the kind msg,

I put the spoiler on as I felt it was a good mod to slightly identify the car as mine by making it a different to the rest and especially my last one, as it looked exactly the same as my current M3,

However after a few months of looking at it I’ve decided to make alternate plans so please watch this space.

I expected to be fair, very mixed reviews on the spoiler but have had a lot of nice comments on it, however next plans are for a csl bootlid.

As they say.. can’t beat them, join them.

    All the best
    James

What an immaculate piece of motoring goodness! Makes me miss my E46... I also, like you like to keep it OEM+ and was searching for months before finding a maxed out specification (the only thing it didn't have was sunroof which I didn't want and the rear blind which I did buy but never retro fitted).

    Here is a pic:

Awesome car James, loving your work!

Currently looking for ideas for my PY M3 hence reading loads of project threads, but as a side note, CSL boot lid looks brilliant on a PY car

Looks excellent. Are those ac schnitzer wheels? The colour is great and it sits just right.

Thanks, yes they are Type 3's I think, came with the car when I got it, keep thinking about refurbing them in a lighter colour or going 18's but really not sure
