having just picked up an E46 M3 myself I notice it’s only a 4 seater.

if I change it to the 5 seater do you get the centre lap belt with the seat or how is that fitted?

They should all have lap belts as standard in the early models. Then changed to a proper third belt over the shoulder later, or as an option extra. As far as I’m aware they are all 5 seaters, bar the csl.

    Someone may correct me though.

That makes two of us buddy!

It’s been in with one of Northern Ireland’s highest regarded detailers to let him make the most of that paint finish.

it’s also for ceramic coating and a host of other work.

I’m not going for concourse quite like you but if I get it half as fine as yours I’ll be happy!

Hi guys and gals, I hope your all very well.

    (Slightly bigger update than usual).

Very happy to say we’ve got some lovely CSL style wheels fitted up. Bought from forum member Andy aka “MADDOG”, these cm sponsor wheels are the cherry on the cake.

Beautifully wrapped in CSL size 235 35 and 265 30 pilot super sports, these finish the car of perfectly.

Poor quality pictures unfortunately due to lack of time and starting to loose daylight but I thought I would post a few.

    (12.5mm spacers all round).

Can’t thank Andy enough for such a smooth transaction, top bloke and what a gorgeous M3 he has!

    More updates to come.
    Thanks as always.

Good lad. They look great and spaced well, good choice.

    Cheers

Thanks Frazer, hope your good and well.

    How’s the car hunt going?

Thanks for the lovely comments, I am a sucker for oem but somethings are just done better, she sits better on them with the spacers, looking at your Imola thread helped me along with the choice massively!

    All the best

Aye not too bad, we have a busy end to the year and I’m in no rush so will just see what happens. Still in two minds about my budget too, easy to get carried away.

You are right, they sit great and still have the factory look. I did notice you liked one of my photos on a spacer thread from ages ago, I’m glad they helped you.

    Cheers

Looks good but no need for the spacers imo.

Hi stax, hope your well. Glad you had great dealings with Andy also. His a lovely chap.

I agree somewhat with the front spacers, I had 20mm’s on the front of my oem wheels and they were an absolute bugger to get off. Had to use a heat gun and lots of perseverance.

Copper greased the 12mm’s on and hopefully no dramas there in the future.

I’m a happy boy for the time being. Let’s get saving for that CSL bootlid next. ;)

Managed to install this little fella today.

Hard wired onto the battery at the terminals and managed to hide the wires as much as possible. Very handy over the winter months being a weekend car.

Flashes either red yellow or green depending on the life of the battery, when I installed it, I was unhappy to see it already flashing red. Quickly wired up and after a 3 or 4 hours it’s back up to green status.
