Good work it's nice. How was the spark plugs to fit were they a nuisance??
easier with the plenumn off, number 4 and 8 are a pain ,especially 4!
Hint of things to come!
I bought these off a cutter a cutter to go on my space grey 92,thats long gone so i still have them ready to go on this 92 ,theyre 6 pot brembo's with 4 pot rears and 380mm discs all round. they were painted white which wasnt to my taste but ive repainted them space grey about 5 months ago which were to match the horror of a space grey 92 that i had for 3 months!
rubbed down and primed in the paint booth!
Base colour on , i used a met grey 1k aerosol , then a 2k lacquer which i could apply a hydraulic fluid resistant 2k lacquer over the top which will harden up nicely
started fitting the fronts today ,along with some eibachs!
shaved mounts and e36 m3 front bumpstops
i never remove the strut fully when fitting springs ,i just disconnect the top mount nut and lower it down on a jack until the spring is free and refit new spring, easy when you know how!
Following on from my front brake fitment the other day ive now fitted the rears
gave my new 359s a coating of siramik
And here it is out in the sun after a blast down the ol' coastroad today
When i got home i fitted my rear carbon spoiler that i've had in the garage for months.
applying the tiger seal
spoiler taped in position for an overnight cure, have to wait til tomorrow to see what its like !
removed the securing tape ,spoiler is cured now, happy with it!

That looks fantastic.
Oh, i like that kev, she looks lovely, I love the colour... the mods are spot on too.
Love seeing your builds, your cars are always mint and done nicely. That looks awesome.
well hopefully this is a keeper for a long time ,its the e92 i should of had straight after my 46, still better late than never and ive also sampled an F80 M3 along with a great road trip to Spain in a monte carlo 92!
Great work and attention to detail. Love threads like this. How to make a used car look as if it's straight out the factory.
Superb effort. Well done.
yeah i love the colour too. unless you own the colour it just looks grey but under different light conditions you can see lilac/purple hues and also a bronze tinge too.
Very smart & nice blog! Keep up the good work
