Looking good Kev, nice set of Recaro CS's and some M2 Comp mirrors to go with that bit of carbon mentioned above and it's sorted ;)

Oh you need to change your username now too lol.

Congratulations Kev, I know the itch has been strong for some time!

I do like these, N55 sounds great with a performance exhaust too.

Wife really wants one of these (in ‘silly’ LBB as you call it lol).

Looking forward to following this and how you get on with it. Enjoy!

Cheers Keith, yes the itch has been strong for a few years now and has only been compounded by our 220i!
It sounds good with the standard exhaust on, God knows what an MPE sounds like!, LLB is OK but it's not me at all! I'm planning to carry out a few mods in time but nothing major really, just the usual stuff

with the MPE it sounds epic and with the Bluetooth module when you don’t want to have it that aggressive you can switch it off .

Great bit of kit and well worth it imho

How are you enjoying it after coming straight out an E92 M3?

It's a logical progression E92 M3 > M2, however I really struggled to get on with the steering in my M135i (I completely understand that it wasn't an M car and that the M2 is) so am curious how you find it?

I had an M135i, parted company with it for simlar reasons, handling of the M2 the difference is night and day, M2 is so much more positive none of the vaugeness the F2x suffered from, well for me anyway.

I like the steering, feels very solid with a nice weight to it, still waiting for a dry day to fully exploit it!

Good to hear its a vast improvement over the M-lite. I recall Harris saying it was much better, though it's good to hear from other enthusiasts too

Can’t believe I missed this thread. Congrats Kev! Completely excellent choice :)

Loving the mods too. Would have looked to do the same with a pre LCI given the chance. Bit of a bonus it came with the LCI rear lights too.

Like others, I’m also a big fan of the MPE, although would definitely say it’s LOUD, even with the exhaust valves closed! On cold start it’s nuts, especially when you start it in a garage.

Looking forward to following this thread..

Manual! Happy days!!! While I think MG is a tad vanilla, it does look smart all the same. How’s it compare to the E92? I guess it loses some character with the noise and power delivery, but it must still be good fun.
