Comparing this new G series with that pic in your avatar of your Santorini blue E92 is like comparing a squashed turd with a beautiful swan . The E92 is such a great looking car and has aged so well .
I hope you’re right. That colour is the best I’ve seen for that car but I’m afraid I ‘be thrown in the towel and went to the Porsche dealership yesterday.
no, forget the obvious, the side profile is just too long and featureless, rear is a total mess for me, tail lights look sad
The looks are growing on me. I watched the carwow M440i review earlier and I even thought that was starting to look nice. Not to mention they did a couple of launches and timed it at 3.82s 0-60! Bmw official time 4.5s Cant wait to see the M xdrive M4 launch times!
It doesn’t have back seats or a proper boot so it should weigh 1/3 less! I don’t think they are really comparable but if you’re buying a second/toy car I can see why you’d go for the GT4
They’re not proper boots. If they won’t take a full set of golf clubs or a proper sized suitcase it doesn’t count!
I don't know the rest of the uk but I am from Bristol and I can show you 10's of streets where you can not fit this car, no chance. I push myself hard and it unfortunately can't get any better.
You can get clubs in the back and a full carry-on in the front. Pretty good for a mid-engine sports mobile.
A carry on isn’t a suitcase, it’s designed to fit in small spaces and take up less room, hence why it fits in a Cayman! Anyway, my point stands. You will not fit as much in a GT4 as you will in an M4, hence why I think they are very different propositions. The Z4 is more like for like comparison, although unfortunately not performance wise!
This is a stupid debate. The boots are big enough. I don’t want a GT4 so I can put a fridge in the back. I’ve got an M140i for that.
You have had some great cars. Gtrs, csls, m2. The G80 is marmite However, I quite like this, and agree re the road presence. I think it will grow on people over time. I reckon it will be a great drive. Go for it bud.
Im the type of person who buys a car to find out for myself what it’s like for me, rather than listen to everyone’s own personal view of the car. Car reviews are similar to film and food reviews, personal preference I’ve bought cars that have lasted a week, as they just didn’t float my boat. I’ll also be waiting for the deals to start before I commit
