I’ve never done a build thread but thought I’d share my latest project with you guys and see what ideas and feedback I receive

I’ve had several ( and I mean loads of E46 and E92 m3s ) over 12 years now and always tinkering and changing parts and always have a few projects on the go at the same time

So here goes for a members ride section virgin

brought this Java green beauty in March and drove it home straight on to axle stands and the project begins.........

the car has a couple of previous cutters owners and has been seen at various shows and meets over the years

I actually tried purchasing the car 5 years ago but the previous owner did want to sell

here’s a link to the previous cutters treads

    https://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=134365

    https://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/threads/java-green-e46-m3.193933/

    Let the fun begin.......

    Next up was the brakes

Got my hands on a lovely front and rear set of D2 big brakes

6 pot 356mm disc fronts and 4 pot 330mm rears

hard to decide on a colour to compliment the Java green so colour matched them to the car

Hoping to use this one a fair bit....

Some of the guys on here that know me know I’ve got quite a few m3s but never use them lol........

Being higher millage was a bit of a bonus for me so no need to worry about putting the miles on

Another plus point was the rod bearings was done at A.Reeve 10k miles ago

Rear floor ( axle carrier panel ) has also been plated and braced

Will try to keep this updated but also building a supercharged santorini blue LE500 at the same time

If I get spare time I’ll start a build thread on that one too

    More to come.........

    Cheers mate much appreciated

i wasn’t a fan of the style of the old wheels and didn’t feel the black look against the green

took me a while to decide on what wheels to go for....... but can’t go wrong with arc8s

I originally kept my ACS type 2 split rims for the car but unfortunately I didn’t think the style or colour suited the car

    what do you guys think??
