Never seen a front end like that before and frankly I don't want to see it again either. WHAT are you thinking BMW? I remember when the "bug eyed" Granada came out and that was universally panned for being horrible and the resulting sales figures proved the case so is this effort (I refuse to use the word design here) going to be any different? I think not. How the hell did that get past the design stage?
The rest of the shape doesn't work either , as Colin states its all very Merc like and some of Merc's styling looks like an inverted banana.
I, for one, will not care how good the engine is or if its 4 wheel drive or not I would refuse to buy something like this. Time for a change I think, no, I know!

M3 (and now M4) development should be natural progression. BMW always gets it wrong and Porsche always gets it right. (well nearly always) I've just watched the launch of the 992 911 Turbo S. Perfection repeated.

Yes its crazy money like the Jag XE project 8 I think they called it, I was hopping for a coupe version of the Alfa quad with V6 hybrid, but it's been shelved I believe.

Well I think BMW should take advantage of the Corona Virus and delay the launch,
Then secretly finish work on the real design, idiots!

The mad thing is that if it had proper kidney's it would probably look ok. Those grills are just stupid and make the 7 series look small.

The render full frontal looks good to me looks wide arched , so let’s hope it’s correct image.? Rear Lights in render look better than spy pic maybe wishful thinking as I like that renders

Wide arch is good but all your focus is drawn to the grill! I’ve got a bbq pack ready for the summer.
