Having had a good read of the first post on this forum around maintenance etc I got to this post mentioning:

I doubt I'll be going full OCD & cleaning it weekly, but it will need to be washed at least twice a month as the road(s) it is parked on are leafy so plenty of crap gets dropped on it from both the trees & the birds :openfire:

Having done some further digging, there's a place called Posh Wash just 10mins up the road in Brentford (other office in Park Lane ) that highly recommended on Pistonheads, they have Enzo's, SLR's, Lambo's etc so can't be bad at all.

Starts at £15, so I reckon one trip there a month / 6 weeks to get it properly cleaned & the rest should be a quick jet wash (water only) & a sparkle of the rinseless, all being well that should keep it in good nick.

That's great news they can do the more messy washes and you can maintain In between. Your substation is not ideal and iv been in this situation many times living in apartments myself but there is always a way.

If you have anymore question with regards to detailing we are all here to help.

Appreciate all your help & the products look top notch

    Brentford site is here:

    Unit 9B
    Set Star Trading Estate
    Transport Avenue
    TW8 9HF

Looking on Google maps it's just off the A4 (toward London) next to the River Brent.

They mailed me back this morning to say you can turn up any time for a wash, & they can also bang a quality wax on it which would take 3-4hrs so best to book that in.

I've got the day off tomorrow so might go over early doors & check it out.

Another idea for you is to go onto the detailingworld.com and look the location section to see iv they have a highly respected mobile detailing company that can come to you.

Reviving a very old thread here,
What are the best ways people have found to keep their pride an joy clean from living in a flat?

I was looking at this thread and wandering what to get?
I think I can get away with using a jet spray at the local garage and then take a bucket with me and do a proper job.

Bascically any advice to make it easy to clean the car with bare minimum kit. Like the OP i've previously driven an old Polo before that got a yearly wash if it was lucky so not really sure what I need either
