How to add pictures to your posts using Postimage

    Step 1

    Go to the Postimage website and signup for an account here: https://postimages.org/signup then login.

    Step 2

    Once logged in, enter a name for your new album in the "Gallery name" input box, then hit the "Create a new gallery" button.

    Step 3

    Ensure the size is set to 1024x768 and duration is set to "No expiraton" as show below.

    Then click the "Choose images" button.

    Step 4

    Browse for the images on your computer/phone/tablet. While your images are uploading you should see something similar to the following:

    Step 5

    Once uploaded you should see something similar to the below. Click the clipboard copy/paste icon next to the "Hotlink for forums" box. This will copy the image code for your post.

    Imgur and postimage are both throwing up privacy errors on my PC, suggesting they are not secure?

    Same for me, PC and iOS.

    That said this site isn’t secure either... check the address bar.

    Imgur does NOT keep images permanently, as far as I'm aware. Once images go inactive they are deleted which is no good for forums. Postimage keeps images forever regardless of activity.

    The sites are fine for me - always have been.
