Second one all day long. LCI with CIC / LED lights and Hifi Stereo. Looks like it needs a good polish but you could sort that out.

Cheers mate, might be of help to people searching!

Do you mean that blue is your first colour choice for the exterior? A bit confused given the two you’ve highlighted are your last option?! It may be that there are aren’t many choices at the moment close enough to you. But some up to date experience, I just bought a decent manual car in blue with 50k for way less than those two. So with a bit of patience you’ll find the right car I’m sure.

One thing that is essential i think is to look at a number of cars. Because unless you know what to look for it’s easy to just plump for the first one (unless it’s an obvious dog of course!) you see.

Colour isnt of high importance but black leather is. I have looked a 3 already and will look at a few more but due to where i live that means a lot of traveling. Thanks for all the replys I will post pics when I get one.

The Silverstone one, Gaz, I've seen it on the Approved Used Database but there's a footnote it's a Sytner Select car ; so IF that's case there's going to be some issue that stops them wanting to put a full warranty on it.

Ah right, understood. I’m with you on that one myself!

I'd never buy one without seat heating either though. That second you posted didn’t have that!

Good luck finding the right one.

I have bought the silverstone one which is now an AUC the problem was it was a Northern Ireland car and BMW UK couldnt verify the service history but the dealer contacted the supplying dealer and now all sorted. They have fitted new actuators and done a service including spark plugs and a brand new MOT. I have seen the bill for £3000 of work so well happy with the deal i got.

CIC came in, in mid/late 08, not mid 09.

For me it would be BMW warranty, whether AUC or extended by the current owner. Aside of course from the usual things like age, condition and mileage.

That's what the official production dates say (September 2008), and I agree, there are small minority made and quickly registered on 58 plates that have CIC. But they are a rare sight. If you check the marketplace, you'll struggle to find a 58 plate with CIC.

Anyone looking will find even most of the '09' reg cars in the UK marketplace still have CCC, so the official production date change over is a bit of a red herring, as so much of our marketplace is late-registered. A search of any classifieds will suggest you need to be mid 2009 (09 and 59 plate) to be safe.
