    Hi all,

I've noticed what sounds like an electrical earthing hum when I come off the accelerator, its very faint and appears to be coming from behind the dashboard.

Still hear it with the radio off.

    Any ideas?

Hi, car was bought as an approved used from BMW in July 2017, and its been in for warranty work in August 18.

My assumption is yes, but can't be certain

Just a possibility as I've been dealing with this pump recently myself. But when you come off throttle the electric brake vacuum boost pump would possibly be audible. It sits in the front wing behind the passenger arch liner.
