Looking for a good family car on a lease deal and not sure what to get. Open to options just have some criteria to meet which I can list below.

If anyone has any good ideas or links it will be much appreciated.

    Criteria:
    2 years old or newer
    4 doors
    Good/big (ish) boot
Some power if possible (Preferably petrol but not the end of the world)
    £300ish a month.

    Many thanks,

Thank you mate, that looks quite tempting. Need to see one in the flesh now for size etc.
Quite like the new tiguan or an A7 of some sort but I think they will be too expensive.

Even any good links to websites would also be helpful as last time we just went straight to Guildford Audi but I dont want to deal with them anymore, not happy with them.

    Thanks,

You can’t lease a used car mate. Only new. You are needing a pcp.

There’s a long running thread on PistonHeads that’s easy to find that is constantly updated with all the best leasing deals. Worth a look.

Don't forget though with a 4 year deal you will have 4 services to pay, probably a set of tyres all round and 2 mots so the cost adds up.

Objectively it doesn't look like a great deal even over 2 years. On a 3+23 deal you are paying £988 up front and 329 per month which is over £8k to rent a car that is only £30k list (more like £27k with discount) so at best you're at 31% of retail.

Those in the know consider the best deals to be around 20% and good deals up to 25% of retail (broadspeed/carwow) or similar.

There were some Kodiaq deals (very similar car) around £100pm cheaper than this a month or so ago. There is also a massive wait (26 weeks not uncommon) due to WLTP testing on most VW group cars.

The PH thread is worth keeping an eye on. The trick is to be a bit agnostic about what you lease and move quickly when you see a good deal. I managed to get a 530e on a )+18 at £360pm inc VAT which when you do the maths is about 21% of a discounted retail. looking forwards to the electric thing, should be interesting
