    Hi Guys

I’ve just purchased some heated seats.

Are the wires in place and do I just need to buy a a/c heated control switch?

Wires arent in place if you havent already got them, you need either the lower button (where parking sensor button is) or the one near the fan controller, both can be coded to work

if you have electic seats with memory then you are good to go.

You just need the seats and either the seat button panel or the HVAC with heater buttons.

if you replace the HVAC panel, remember to code it to your car.

Once you have done that add the heated seat option to the cars VO and thats it.

Done this retrofit (m3 seats in my 335) and they work a treat.

Pm me if you need any info or advice mate

you need either isat-p or ncsexpert

read out the vo and then add heated seat option (sa494), then code frm and another module, and then add the heated seat button panel

    OR

get a HVAC and code that with ncsexpert for the heated seats.

    both will work no problem.

I’ve just swap to a/c heated seat control.

There where only two wires but three ports.

Is the third port the wire I need for the headed seats?

I have pictures on my phone but I don’t know how to upload them.

Unless the unit came from a car with the same spec as yours (and engine size etc), you will need to recode the HVAC module.

You will also need to tell the car it now has heated seats, otherwise the buttons wont light up or work.

No its for the small button panel that sits under the hvac control (if you have things like auto stop start and front pdc etc).

If you dont have a button panel, then its left empty.

No need I think I know what you mean.

Sounds like all the plugs are not connected.
