Head Gasket and Vanos

    Sooo finally put the car in for a head gasket and vanos rebuild.

    I've had a Besian kit for over a year but never got round to it and due to it being preventative rather than repair I just left it.
    But the HG had been making noises for a while... I'll post the pics up later, but it was split across the board except one cylinder :rolleyes: similar to others making a noise under load around 2k to 3k apart from that it was fine.. never lost oil, over heated or anything.

    Looking forward to driving it once it's back together!

    Local mechanic to me that another Cutter put me onto... (Isle of Man).
    Guys a legend, photographs all the various stages of pulling apart, cleaning and re-assemble.
    Vast knowledge.

    He did my SMG to Manual conversion a year ago... never need touching since, just works and feels like a factory manual.
    I'll drop some pics asap.
