I am looking to purchase a GTS style rear wing for my e46, which I will mount to my CSL bootlid - anyone here bought one? Looking for a quality reinforced carbon part - its for my track car - here is another car that was inspiration for me:

Theres a german company. An american and a genuine GTS wing. You will have to drill holes in the bootlid.

The decent reps are about 1k. A chinese copy is about 400. Im surw a genuine version is over 2k

Do you have a picture of it from the rear? I've always fancied one of these myself but I'm not sure if spoilers suit the 46.

I do have more pics, will upload - I actually think it looks better in the flesh than in photos.

In terms of looks - I now feel like Scott Bacon :) although this is for a track car, so not really for commuting to the office.

I have some friends in Germany who are going to be investigating the German ones as it definitely needs to be good reinforced quality so that it doesn't vibrate and move.

I am tempted but do we think it'll make a real difference?

    Of course it will

Combined with a front splitter this is meant to be really noticeable especially in high speed corners.

To your average track dayer are you really going to notice much of a difference by sticking one of these to the boot? Looks a little daft, spoils the lines of the car and in reality for what gain?

OEM E92 GTS wings are still available from BMW around £750 but from memory only in Black FRP

Not my cup of tea, especially when drilling holes into a CSL boot but everyone to their own.

You got the Chinese version at £970
    [IMG]

Or one from the UK at Carbon Genetics GTS at £1300

They're not the same style though. They're from the new M4 GTS which in my opinion definitely wouldn't suit an older car like the E46.

I think the E92 GTS one looks much better on a 46.

I thought there was some consensus that you're better off using the standard bootlid as the base for a high-downforce wing. Regardless, I think it looks excellent.
