Maybe, staying local (Donington and Silverstone) for the time being.
Ahh ok fair enough, wouldn't mind meeting up at a track day in the future.
Yes, I have 2 cars coming between now and the end of the year. All the bits will be advertised in the for sale section in the next few weeks.
The CCB was not on my list of wants to be honest, steelies are so much cheaper to maintain. And they are great brakes to be fair, i'll see how they do on track.
Now that looks lovely
Are you still getting the Mini ?, and what is the other machine, without sounding terribly nosy
Blimey that second guy can drive!
I think the general consensus is that ccb’s are too expensive to replace if you’re tracking it regularly.
The GP will be hear in the next week or so and the build will start on it as soon as it arrives. The second car is a Toyota Yaris GR4 circuit pack. The third project is to finish my e46m3 restoration this year.
There is a 4th project but it’s too early to disclose that one.
Let me know when you’re at Donnington mate (once lockdown rules have relaxed). I’ll pop down
what are the sort of costs involved with replacing steels or ccbs? i know for the m cars the ccbs are very expensive for track work i imagine it’s more so for the porsche
I honest have no idea mate. Don’t plan on finding out what it costs to replace the ccb’s hopefully!
Yes but the guys obviously a cock, no helmets on....also changing down into 2nd gear far too much.
Hasn’t gearing in the GT4 always been a characteristic though? 2nd and 3rd are supposedly really long and all the power is at the higher end, so you will live in 2nd/3rd a lot of the time.
Yep, 80 in second, 105 in third.
yes they do seem long, And Ive never driven one so no expert , but knowing those corners, should have been driving through more smoothly in 3rd rather than changing down unsettling the car more. Still a cock , no helmet big ego doesn’t want to spoil his hair in front of his passenger
Yeah his lines are beautiful to watch! Hes also quick without pushing too hard, obv knows the ring and the gt4 well.
Lush! Much better looking than any BMW currently in production.
