    Hi all,

Which roads in Sussex (East & West) and Surrey do you consider to be good driving roads? For arguments sake, we'll assume that the roads are driven in the morning (6am - 8am) so that traffic/ cyclists aren't an issue.

Here's a list of what I consider to be good, but I've only lived down here for a few years. I'd be interested to know your thoughts.

    Billingshurst - Petworth: A272
    Petersfield - Goodwood: B2146, B2141, A286, New road
Goodwood - Duncton viewpoint: New road, A285,
    Bury - Whiteways Cafe: A29
Small Doe - Woodmancote: Horn Lane
    Partridge Green - Stenying: B2135
Exceat - Beachy Head - East Dean: A259, Birling Gap road, Beachy Head Road, A259
Dunsfold - Allfold Crossways: Dunsfold Road
    Falmer - Woodingdean: B2123
    Beddingham - Newhaven: A26

    Cheers

The Falmer Road is a nightmare most of the time! When it's a clear it can be nice.

    Good Post!

My favourite road is beachy head road :)
Some nice drives over Ashdown Forest too, around Nutely and Munich Legends area!

Maybe not as good as some of the above but I like some of the roads near me in Surrey, like the ones between Ottershaw and Ascot.

Its been a bit of regular for me of late. However last week or so serious police stop presence and searching cars due to speeding and late night racing.

Road from devils dyke down to Poyning is a good one.
