Sounds liked a wounded sea lion. G series is just not for me.
Fecking wank, that car isn’t warm so has a soft limiter.
You’ve posted a video that makes it sound worse than it really is.
it’s still shyte though regardless.
Soft limiters. BORING. EU regulations are strangling the noise of cool cars.
Yup deffo on a limiter. TBF its hard to rev a stationary car now and make it sound decent unless it's fully warm. Even the V8s sound ****. Mine's like a ****ing garden blower until its been for a drive. Then park up and rev and it sounds much better with throaty cackles etc.
So I wouldn't really take that video as gospel per se.
Lol, I thought most cars sound better on start up when cold, I know my CLS55AMG sounds amazing when cold not that i Rev it much obviously but even my 335i sounds great when cold
I think they just need to add a big supercharger and all will be OK, oh and add a couple more cylinders whilst they're at it.
Yes My M135i and M140i both with MPE and my old 335i sounded great on cold-start.
Same can't be said for the F8x cars though even with MPE!
There's an Aston DBS in the car park, that makes a good bark on cold-start too.
Mine sounds awesome on cold start. My neighbours love it.
Then they look of the window and think “it’s okay, it’s just John popping out to do a few blue rinses”
Wait until they come from the factory with 30mph limiters in 30 zones, 70mph limited top speed and built in dash cams/ ECU monitors which report you to the police / your insurer when you do something sketchy.....
these are the reasons I’ll probably never buy a new car again. The unrelenting war against fun, cars, drivers, and the biggest demon of all speed.
Which ignores the fact that incompetence causes almost all accidents regardless of speed.
