Selling a Cobra Rear Box Performance Exhaust for the E92/E93 M3. Came with my BMW AUC M3 because the OEM box had been poorly modified and they couldn’t sell it as AUC with it on apparently. The lead times and pricing meant that a new OEM box didn’t work for the dealer timeframes (3 month maximum turnover) so they got permission to fit an new aftermarket exhaust instead.

Whilst I liked the sound, which was nice and deep below 3000 rpm and sounded good above, it was just to noisy for me as I live in a fairly built up area and don’t want to upset my neighbours. From the ones I’ve heard, I’d say this was about as loud as a 4 pipe mod on the OEM exhaust, but sounds a bit deeper.

in terms of fitment, you’ll need to re-use the the rubber mounts from the OEM exhaust for one side, the other side has its own mounts and bolts straight on.

New price seems to be just short if £1000, so I’m asking £350 - just over a third of the new price.

Collection from AL5, about 10 mins from Junction 9 or 10 of the M1.

Some less than brilliant pictures from when I removed it (July 2019, car purchased in June 2019). Been sat in a heated garage ever since.

Hi. They are 3.5” and are not removable. I’ve added some pictures below. Excuse the quality of the pictures, garage is rammed at the moment so no space for arty photography ;)

Apart from the time in the car it’s been stored in a dry, heated garage.

    Open to offers.

I’ve had a few enquiries about shipping these, but unfortunately I have nothing to package them with as I got them with the car.

Would a courier take something just wrapped up in bubble wrap? I’d assumed that it would have to be boxed up.

yeah they’ll take it. Maybe get some cardboard around the tips and some bubble wrap around it... very unlikely to get damaged! Had couriers take/deliver a few exhausts now.
