Gents thinking of getting winter tyres in early.... What tyre would you all recommend to fit on the stock black alloys F&R? What would the approximate cost be?

I don't know much about tyres.... But seeing some YouTube videos methinks think it might be worth it to keep the car on the road!

Has anyone had winter tyres on the standard 19" wheels through winter/slush/snow/ice and have some feedback on how well they function?

I drive some country roads to work often which aren't always gritted and would like to not get stuck or slide off the road

Just trying to decide on different wheels or whether with the right tyres I can stick with the standard wheels.

    I went with these

    Pirelli Winter SottoZero 3 275/35 R19 96V ,J
    Pirelli Winter SottoZero 3 255/35 R19 96H XL ,J

On standards wheels, they'll fine pretty good i think. Some more opinions on a thread in the general section

    Anyone use 295/30 MP4S with ET25 10" rears?

Obviously like using a 25mm spacer on the rear, so not sure it will work.

BTW I’d just like to say that I’ve had the MPS4S on over winter and they have been much better than the MPSS in the cold wet.... I think they are far superior for traction....

Anyone else changed to these? What’s your thoughts?
