    Quite possibly but have all of those people, who think E46 is better, owned a F8x ?

    but ask every one who had e46 will say that they wish they kept it too ( not for resale purposes in the future or now )

    Fair point mate, I do get bored that’s true

    The E46 M3 is / was a great car no doubt. It was the first M car that I really really wanted and lusted for. The kind of car that made you feel like you’d really ‘made it’ if you get my drift. The fact that good ones still catch the eye of many petrol heads supports how good they were

    I am actually looking for a clean one engine and transmission wise. color etc isnt important.

    I met an interesting chap at the weekend that does a lot of work on E46 M3s (in fact all the older Ms) including putting manual gearboxes in E46 CSLs etc. Even putting manuals in v10 M5s. He's also been asked to put a manual in two G80 M3s but can't get the parts from ze Germans yet.
