Looks like the clamps need changing as the exhaust is blowing quite badly. I’ve read so many posts about which to buy and am frankly confused! Don’t really want to be grinding anything so could just do with a part that goes straight on.
Anyone used these clamps by X8R?

    These will be fine

I researched the same ones and the reviews were fine.

At The end of the day it's just an exhaust clamp so I think most will be fine....although I'd avoid the Peugeot mod thing as Pugs are crap cars to start with!!

I have them on mine and they seem to be well made.

I have the X8R clamps to fit when the exhaust goes back on the car. They look well made but I will swap out the supplied nuts for M8 stainless Aerotight. Not a big fan of spring washers and regular nuts on exhausts.

The Pug ones also crack the exhaust due to incorrect clamping.

The i6 ones are similar to X8R clamps but they can sometimes require grinding to one clamp due to one pipe being slightly larger than the other.

I bought these, took a little grinding and drilling as the clearance holes for the bolts on one clamp were badly cast and couldnt get the bolt through. Been on the car for a year now and appear to still be good though.
