    Hi earlier today people showed interest in a potential group buy for one of these intercooler plates from EAS. It’s not for everyone as it’s essentially just engine bling so please don’t turn this into one of those threads.

    https://europeanautosource.com/eas-intercooler-marque-plate-bmw-f8x-m3-m4.html

    I have spoke to Kevin at EAS and he will do us discount to $80 dollars per plate and combine the postage at$52.
    not a massive discount I know but the real saving is in combining the postage obviously so the more we buy the more every one saves.

    There is obviously customs at 20% too and I would have to post them to everyone but within the U.K. that should t be much. So we need a few people to make it worth while.

    This requires no min number from EAS to go ahead but I would suggest we really need 5 people to make it worth while and I would need the cash upfront as I don’t want to pay out for people who may change their mind etc no offence I am sure your all very trustworthy.

    If we get 5 people at today’s exchange rate I reckon you would be looking at roughly £95 delivered to members.

    5x80=400
    +20%=480
    +52= 532
    532/5=106.4
    $106.4 x 0.82=£87.24
    U.K. postage - £5-7
    Total about £95

    Still rediculous for what’s basically a sticker but the development is done and I’m 100% in, thanks for organising :beer:

    I'm not being funny but...if someone can let me have a look in their bay for 5 minutes I can take some measurements and have a batch of these made up to sell at half the price of these.

    Thanks chaps, I'm down in Corsham, Wiltshire so I'm not sure if our paths will cross - that said, I'll be at Combe on Monday 1st June and Donington 8th June if that's any good.

    Marrow , you might want to note that VAT plus duties would stand you back at probably 26% in total as they usually charge a portion of vat on shipping costs too!....wouldnt want you to get caught out.... just incase :(

    This may be utter rubbish, just thinking out loud but the bare metal is bound to be a heat sink to a degree, could putting something other than a metallic material over it be a bad thing?

    The 3M tape will help to stop it heat soaking a little but you are still bound to get heat trapped between the intercooler and the cover.
