Yep he didn't actually list it again but I messaged him and made a decent offer and he was happy to sell, service history is perfect and the seller himself in the short time he had it took it to redish and had the diff oil, brake fluid, windscreen etc changed.
I did pay him slightly more than he paid for the car but I think I still got a good deal in the end especially with all the mods still on it.

That is Ashley's car and it is a lovely example, loads of valuable extras on it and worth over £30k for sure well done great car

Yep it really is a clean car and Ashley is a top bloke aswell, I was happy to pay that bit extra as it has the eventuri and brakes etc although I'm seriously considering putting the standard brakes on to sell the AP's on but we shall see.

I was lucky enough to pick this up yesterday after what seemed like ages trying to find a decent one.
It's a frozen silver edition and I absolutely love it, I was unsure about frozen paint to begin with but when I seen it in the flesh I had to have it and it's in good condition considering the car is 10 years old.
I will get a thread up soon as I have a few things planned to upgrade and tidy up.
Congrats! Beautiful car with some great mods also

I have a bench grinder with a wire brush wheel and used that. I then polished them by hand with some Autosol

I also admire Sam87 attention to detail and glad to hear I’m not the only saddo, I bought new OEM coolant expansion tank bolts and a new exhaust centre support just to smarten things up. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174797346648 (BMW Genuine 3x Hex Bolt M6 x 20 U2-8.8 07119903995)
I'll have to clean my bonnet catch next.

Just out of interest, did you grease or oil anything afterwards? It might not look as good but surely it would offer some protection? Maybe gun oil or something that will hang about for a while.

No, I didn't do that because they wouldn't have looked as shiny afterwards..... If the shine starts to fade, I'll be doing the same thing again
